Method :

Grind rice powder, grated coconut and sugar to a fine
paste.

Mix yeast and baking soda with coconut water and keep
for ½ an hour.

Add the coconut water mix to the ground rice powder
mix.

Mix well and keep to ferment for 5-6 hours.

Grease the appachatty, and make the appam as usual.

Method :
-
Boil the potato with the skin, remove the skin, cut and
make 1 inch cubes.

Cut the onion in lengthwise.

Slit the green chilly.

Finely chop the ginger
-
Grind the coconut to a fine paste along with black
pepper, cumin and salt.

Keep a vessel on fire, add onion, green chilly, ginger
and cook in 1 cup of
water, in high flame.

Add the potatoes, when the onion is cooked well.
-
Mix well and add the coconut paste. Cook in low flame
for 5 minutes.

Remove from the fire.
-
Add the coconut oil and curry leaves.
-
Close and keep for some times to get the nice aroma of
coconut oil and curry leaves.

Use.
(If we want, we can add green peas
or some mix vegetables or we can replace the potato with tomato. The other ingredients will be same. And the cooking procedure also).
