Carrot-Cabbage-Beans Thoran
(Dry dish made of a finely chopped vegetables)
Ingredients : Carrot |
100 g. |
Beans | 100 g. |
Cabbage | 50 g. |
Green Chilli | 10 nos. |
Coconut Oil | 3 tab. sp. |
Toor Dal (lentil) | 1 tab. sp. |
Mustard | As req. |
Curry leaves | As req. |
Salt | As req. |
Method :

Finely Chop the vegetables.

In a vessel, add 1 tab.sp. oil and fry toor dal.

Add carrot and beans, saute for 1-2 minutes.

Add ¾ cup of water, salt and cook. Before it gets dry, add cabbage and chilly.

Mix well. Remove from the fire. Keep close, to get the cabbage cooked.

Heat the balance oil in a small pan and add the mustard
seeds.

Fry till the spluttering stops and add the curry leaves
and add to the vegetable mix.
