Ingredients :
Ginger

Red chilli powder

2 tea spoon

Turmeric powder

Red Chilli

Tamarind
(old-black)

1 medium size ball

Jaggery
|
½ of a cube

Salt

As required

Sesame Oil
|
3 table spoon

Asafoetida

1 small pc.

Fenugreek

½ tea spoon

Mustard
|
1 tea spoon

Curry leaves

Method:
-
Remove the skin
of the ginger, clean and chop it into fine.

Wash and cut the
green chilli also into very small pieces.

Keep a wok on the
fire, add sesame oil, mustard, red chilli.
-
Fry for a while,
then add the chopped ginger and green chilli.

Saute well. (In
between, put the tamarind in ½ a glass of warm water).

Sqeeze the
tamarind and add into the ginger-chilli.
-
Add the chilli,
turmeric powders.

Add, curry
leaves, salt, jaggery.

Cook, until it
becomes a thick consistency.

Heat asafetida,
and grind to a fine powder along with the fenugreek and add.
