PAALADA PRADHAMAN (Rice Pudding with Milk)
Ingredients:
Rice

Plantain
Leaves

Method :
To make Ada :
·
Wash
and soak rice for one hour. Grind it to
a paste.
·
Spread
the batter on the plantain leaves.
·
Roll
the leaves and tie and steam to cook well.
·
When
its cooked, remove from the leaves.
·
Chop
into to very nice pieces and wash well in running water.
To make Pradhaman :
·
Boil
the milk in a heavy bottomed vessel.
·
Add
Ada & cook well.
·
Add
sugar and continue boiling in a low flame.
·
Stir
continuously till the milk thickens and gets a reddish colour.
·
Add
ghee.
